Carly is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from the University of South Australia in 2000. She has built a diverse career working across hospital and community settings in Victoria, South Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Skye completed a Bachelor of Community Health (Occupational Therapy) at Charles Sturt University in 2002. She has a strong interest and significant experience in neurological assessment and rehabilitation, including stroke, acquired and traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological‑related conditions. More recently, Skye has been involved in providing case management services for clients with Acquired Brain Injuries. Skye co‑founded Abilities Occupational Therapy with business partner Carly Clarke in 2010.

 

Alina completed a Bachelor of applied Science (Occupational Therapy) in 2006. Alina’s experience includes working as a Senior Occupational Therapist with adults who have intellectual and dual disability, working with aged care facilities to maximise safety and inform care planning, and in both community and inpatient rehabilitation. She is skilled in conducting detailed functional assessments and assisting in the development of care plans and recommendations to support maximal independence and engagement for individuals.

Marnie completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at the University of South Australia in 2005. She has worked in a variety of clinical roles within the South East region of South Australia, including community, acute, post‑acute and aged care settings. These roles have provided her with experience across palliative care, paediatrics, adult community health, disability, rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation and management, transition care, aged care assessment teams, and burns therapy.

Marnie is passionate about supporting people in rural South Australia to achieve their goals and maximise their quality of life. She enjoys travelling throughout the South East to work with clients in their homes and values the opportunity to give back to the community she grew up in, while balancing her role with family life.

 

Glen completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the University of South Australia in 2019 and joined Abilities Occupational Therapy as a therapist following a student placement during his final year of university. He has experience working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities and children who have experienced trauma. With a background as a tradesperson, Glen has a strong interest in the assessment and prescription of home modifications and assistive technology, supporting clients across South Australia.

 

Julia completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Occupational Therapy at Flinders University in 2020 and joined Abilities Occupational Therapy as a new graduate. Julia completed placements across a range of settings, including providing services within the community and working in a mental health residential service. Her final placement with the Transitional Care Program team in the Barossa established a strong interest in working in rural areas. Julia is passionate about supporting clients to achieve their goals and maintain their independence and safety in daily living skills and activities that are meaningful to them.

 

Elise completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the University of South Australia in 2022. During her studies, she undertook a range of placements, including adult community practice (with Abilities OT), supporting high‑school‑aged students with intellectual and physical disabilities in a school setting, and working within a paediatric clinic. Elise officially joined Abilities Occupational Therapy at the start of 2025, transitioning from paediatrics where she worked following graduation, and is eager to embrace a role supporting adults.  Elise is excited to combine her love for rural living with her work, while helping people do what they love and maintain independence in their own homes.

 

Tahlia completed a Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Occupational Therapy in 2024 through Charles Darwin University. Tahlia’s clinical placement experiences include adult and community‑based services as well as paediatrics. These placements sparked a strong interest in chronic pain management, mental health, neurological conditions, and orthopaedic rehabilitation.  Growing up in the Limestone Coast, Tahlia is keen to provide services within her local community and support rural individuals to reach their goals.

Grace completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the University of South Australia in 2022. Following graduation, she worked in paediatrics, where she particularly enjoyed community outreach initiatives and building meaningful relationships with clients and their families. Grace joined Abilities OT in 2026 and is passionate about supporting adults to develop and maintain their independence, while empowering them to engage in occupations and activities that are meaningful to their lives.

Tanya joined Abilities Occupational Therapy with six years’ experience in senior healthcare management within a specialist setting, as well as over 15 years’ experience in business and event management. After completing a Diploma in Marketing and Business in her hometown of Northern Ireland, Tanya successfully ran her own businesses for several years before relocating to Australia in 2015, where she embarked on a new career pathway in medical management.

Tanya is passionate about working in healthcare and within organisations that contribute to improved health, wellbeing, and quality of life. Having previously held Management and Director roles across both Australia and the United Kingdom, her key strengths include business management, project management, and strategic planning.

Her role at Abilities Occupational Therapy encompasses management, leadership, business development, strategic planning, finance, marketing, and human resources.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys spending time with her three boys, whether it’s a game of golf or cycling around the beautiful Barossa, which she now proudly calls home.

Tiffany looks forward to developing positive client relationships and enjoys being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
