Abilities Occupational Therapy can provide a complete home based service intended at overcoming barriers that limit daily living or inpatient interventions aimed at ensuring safe and effective patient discharges into the community.
We will complete a thorough assessment of each client and can develop and implement an appropriate intervention/care plan as required.
Creation of Abilities Occupational Therapy
In 2010, Occupational Therapists Skye Quin and Carly Clarke were out walking their babies thinking about how they could re-enter the workforce. They wanted to provide quality client centred interventions but in a work place that was flexible and fitted around family life. It was identified that there was a need to offer private occupational therapy to rural South Australians. We became a leading provider in NDIS services, DVA, an Aged Care Provider, Personal injury and LSA
The business has steadily grown along with their families and now covers a large part of rural SA and the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
In 2022, long term senior occupational therapist, Tim Gransbury, joined Carly and Skye as a part owner of Abilities OT.
At present, 13 occupational therapists and three Administration/finance staff and 3 Allied Health Assistants proudly wear the Abilities OT logo, all endeavouring to provide this quality and efficient service to our adult population base.
